About

We’re winegrowers. Not detached resellers.

We are a wine estate in the Beaujolais. Like many, we face goblet-trained vines that are hard to mechanise even when trellised, fewer and fewer authorised treatment options, pressure from fleabane, shifting regulations, and treatments that are gruelling and risky for our health.

And behind it all, the same fear as everyone: no longer being economically viable within a few years, or overnight, on a decision from Brussels.

Faced with this, we looked for machines suited to each type of plot, able to do the work without exposing the operator to the products, at a sustainable cost. We identified a range of reliable radio-controlled machines suited to the Beaujolais and its terrain. We selected, tested and proved them on our own estate.

Today we offer them to winegrowers who, like us, are looking to get by without going broke.

The idea

The right tool, at a price that holds up.

We’re not reinventing the vine. We make accessible the equipment that lets you keep working cleanly, without wrecking your cash flow or your health.

New equipment has become unaffordable

Expect €15,000 to €21,000 for new viticulture equipment. We’re at half price, for a tool that does the same job day to day.

Useful equipment, not overkill

We’re not in the €150,000–200,000 tech bracket. We’re on the small equipment that costs less than a tractor, protects the operator and gets the job done.

Radio-controlled: step out of the cloud

You operate at a distance. You’re no longer in the middle of the spray cloud, exposed to the products. Your health comes first.

Vineyard protection

Protect the harvest, not just work it.

Beyond machines, krawler offers solutions to protect your most exposed plots. More references will round out this range.

Vineyard protectionLateral hail net stretched over vine trellising

Lateral hail-protection net for vines

Protects the fruiting zone from hail, wind, birds and game.

  • Protects the fruiting zone from hail coming in at an angle (the most common case)
  • Also effective against wind, birds and game
  • Reduces leaf-removal and lifting work

Good to know —A lateral net protects the fruiting zone from hail arriving at an angle, which is the most common case. It does not replace a canopy cover against strictly vertical hail, and it does not replace crop insurance. Also factor in the time to install and roll it up each season.
